August 2019 - Association Executives Group Gives Back!

Association Executives Group (AEG), an AMCI accredited association management firm, is committed to giving back. This year we partnered with the Hunger Task Force to help build stockboxes for local families in need. The boxes are comprised of healthy food that is delivered to local low-income families free of charge. Each month, nearly 9,000 boxes are delivered to families in Southeastern Wisconsin and AEG was thrilled to support Hunger Task Force with team labor to complete one of their monthly deliveries.

AEG Remodels Traditional On-site Conference To Fit Virtual Platform In Response To COVID-19 Pandemic For Association, ASATT

AEG Transitions Association Client, AAMAS, to Virtual Conference

OAK CREEK, WI, May 26, 2020 – Association Executives Group (AEG) transitions the American Association of Medical Audit Specialists (AAMAS) 26th annual conference in 2020 to a virtual platform.  Continued concerns over large group gatherings and extended dates for Safer at Home proclomations during the Covid-19 Pandemic helped to guide management decisions to transition the annual conference to a virtual platform. TheAAMAS conference, which was initially scheduled on April 21, 2020 in Louisville, KY, was rescheduled to May 18, 2020 and was live streamed across the country with the move to a virtual platform.

Association Executives Group Creates New Website for Association of Educational Therapists, Builds Unique Member Marketing Program

OAK CREEK, WI, May 6, 2017 – Association Executives Group (AEG) announces that they have completed a new association website design for the Association of Educational Therapists (AET). AEG also worked with AET to redesign their website and the AET brand. The new site is built on the Joomla content management system. Previously their site was developed in an older HTML platform. AEG also redesigned the AET brand including their marketing materials, newsletter template, and publication design.

Owner of Association Executives Group Spearheads Building Restoration

WALES, WI, July 1, 2007 – In this age of widespread residential and commercial development, an old building may not have a chance to survive unless you find someone who believes in a renaissance. Denise Harris saw enough potential in a building on the northeast corner of Highway 83 and Main Street in Wales that she purchased it and returned it to its former glory through a significant restoration and expansion process.  Today, the 5,000-square foot facility is the home of Association Executives Group, a full-service association management company.

Volunteers At Work

At AEG, we are not only committed to our client organizations, but we are committed to our community as well. With our desire to do good, combined with the positive energy that surrounds our corporate responsibility we look forward to our annual holiday volunteer event with The Hunger Task Force. Each year we get together down at their warehouse to stock hundreds of boxes that we fill with essentials for the elderly.

This is a really great event for us, we work hard, but have even more fun working together to support this great cause,” says Denise Harris, President and CEO of AEG. “Knowing these people are receiving the care they should, makes it all so worth it.

In addition to our corporate responsibility, many of our employees volunteer their time with other organizations and events, in an effort to give back.

Adam Saari Senior Graphic Designer

During his spare time, Adam enjoys volunteering with the Sierra Club’s Wisconsin Chapter, as well as their regional group, Southeast Gateway. Adam also makes regular donations to the Blood Center of Wisconsin, International Dark-Sky Association, The Planetary Society, and The National Resources Defense Council.

Denise Harris President & CEO

Denise is an active board member for the Pro Healthcare Foundation. She donates her time for the annual hospice center fundraiser and local cancer walks.

Denise, a prior board member with the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition (WBCC), has been an active volunteer helping with fundraising events. She has also been an advisor to Wisconsin policymakers and is a lobbyist for the State Legislature for items supported by WBCC. “Breast cancer has deeply affected me and many loved ones, and because of that, I have a personal and professional commitment to supporting local efforts that are working to find a cure,” notes Harris.

Denise has also spent time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, helping to build houses in the greater Milwaukee area; working with the local elderly to assist with errands and visitation time; as well as with St. Bens in Milwaukee serving food to the homeless.

Deanna Wroblewski Senior Accountant

Deanna continues to participate in multiple group awareness walks including: Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus Foundation, and Breast Cancer Awareness; just to name a few. Deanna also makes regular donations to PBS and the Humane Society.

Jackie Weis Account Specialist

Jackie volunteers her free time as a newly elected Director on the Board for Women in Vinyl, an association that is dedicated to empowering, educating, and supporting the career development of women, female-identifying and otherwise marginalized human beings within the music industry. Jackie writes music-journalism related articles, and provides research for fundraising, educative and other music/vinyl-related career development articles for the Women in Vinyl website, blog, and podcast.

She also volunteers time on weekends throughout the spring, summer, and fall, assisting in the preservation of the White River through the Friends of the White River group in Lyons, WI. She is also an annual supporter and donor to The National Parks Foundation.

Courtney Harris Communications Specialist

Courtney has spent some time volunteering at her church for the homeless and has also volunteered at the local area women’s shelter.

Liz Kutz Controller

Liz volunteers her time with a couple senior living communities. She delivers Holy Communion to the homebound at Clifden Court Assisted Living in Franklin, and delivers lunches to the Francisan Villa Senior Living in South Milwaukee.

You can often see Liz working the Fiserv Forum concessions fundraising for the Oak Creek Marching Knights High School Band Program, and also volunteers at the Oak Creek High School to run the various concerts, solo ensemble performances, and girl’s basketball tournaments. Liz also fundraises and participates in the Milwaukee Multiple Sclerosis event.

Roy Smith Vice President of IT

Since 2007, Roy and his family have been fostering cats for the Great Lakes Bengal Rescue. In that time frame, Roy believes to have had a couple hundred cats come through his house

Kerry O’Brien Executive Director

Kerry always looks for opportunities to volunteer through her church. Her family especially looks forward to the meal packing event for LifeLine Missions.

Kerry also donates to Purpose By Design. Through retreats, events, and mentoring, Purpose By Design provides young girls with the support they need to help them to actualize their full potential.
